Privacy policy
This policy explains how Movement Culture by Laura Lezcano collects and uses information when you browse the site, create a member account, purchase a challenge, reserve an event ticket, contact support, or attend an event.
Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
- Order details such as the purchased challenge or event, amount, currency, payment status, and provider transaction identifiers.
- Ticket and participation details such as attendee name, waiver acceptance, ticket status, and check-in time.
- Support messages and technical information needed to secure, operate, and diagnose the service.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate members, process and confirm purchases, provide private video access, issue and validate event tickets, administer waivers and attendance, prevent fraud or misuse, respond to support requests, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
Movement Culture uses Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, Cloudflare for protected video and media delivery, Resend for transactional email, Payload and PostgreSQL for application records, Cloudflare R2 for stored media, and Vercel for application hosting. These providers process information only for the services they supply and under their own contractual and privacy obligations.
Complete payment-card numbers are entered into Stripe's checkout and are not stored by this application. Movement Culture may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and authentication
The site and its authentication provider use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary to keep members signed in, secure sessions, remember essential choices, and prevent abuse. Disabling essential storage may prevent account and purchase features from working.
Retention and security
Records are retained for as long as needed to provide access and tickets, resolve disputes, keep financial and attendance records, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Movement Culture uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or raise a privacy question, by emailing support@example.com. Some records may be retained where necessary for legal, security, payment, or dispute-resolution reasons. Identity verification may be required before completing a request.
